The story behind HousingIntellect
HousingIntellect started with a simple observation. Compliance teams across affordable housing were doing the same manual work, the same fragile spreadsheet review, the same desperate monitoring prep, and the technology they had access to was decades behind what every other industry took for granted.
Dizzale Tanner spent ten years inside that reality. As a compliance specialist and team lead at a national property management company, then a senior affordable program manager at a publicly traded REIT overseeing 30+ LIHTC and BMR communities, then a regional HUD director at a senior housing nonprofit, she watched the same problems repeat themselves at every organization.
In 2022 she started sketching what an actual modern compliance platform would look like. By 2025 she was building it. HousingIntellect launches in 2026 to solve problems she lived with for ten years.
